The beginning scene with a drunk taxi driver shooting away those road marking "things" is probably something no other public video has shown before for Tokyo and it is real.
My trip in Tokyo was the only one that ever brought me into real danger. Investigating the nightlife I fell into a yakuza trap. Things got so bad that we were forced to bring the German embassy into play who took care I could immediately fly out of the country.
Without this trip, Global Nanpa would have never developed a certain way. It was a door opener for many things that followed on.
The video got originally uploaded to Youtube on June 5th, 2008. It was a big flop with only 3000 views until April 2012. The poor thumbnail didn't help as well.
